TERMS OF PURCHASE
Last Updated July 20, 2026
Thank you for your support and interest in Suzanne Rea, LICSW. We are so thankful to have you as part of this community!
Please review these Terms of Purchase very carefully. By purchasing our products and/or services, you are agreeing to these and are expressing that you have been given reasonable access to review these terms prior to your purchase. These Terms are binding as of the date you purchase or access our products and/or services.
General Purpose. These Terms are between you ("Purchaser," "you," "your") and Suzanne Rea, LICSW ("Company," "we," "us," "our") for the purpose of purchasing or otherwise obtaining digital products and/or services (our "Products") whether through the Company's website at www.suzannerealicsw.com or any related domains or subdomains (the "Website"), or in person. The Company and the Purchaser will collectively be referred to as "Parties," and each individually as a "Party."
By clicking "Add to Cart," "Buy Now," "Join Now," or any other phrase on the purchase button, submitting a payment electronically or in-person, or otherwise subscribing through the Website, you are agreeing to adhere to and be bound by the following terms and conditions, together with the Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, all of which are hereby incorporated by reference (the "Terms").
Scope of Products. Our Products include, but are not limited to: the digital guide "You're Not Failing. You're Parenting a Teen.," and The Parent Partnership membership, including teaching videos, live Q&A sessions, and community access.
Nature of Content. Our Products are educational and informational in nature, based on general clinical experience, training, and research related to teen mental health and family dynamics. They are not therapy, counseling, or a substitute for professional mental health treatment, and do not create a therapist-client or clinical relationship between you and Suzanne Rea, LICSW — including through the guide, teaching videos, live Q&A sessions, or community space.
If you are concerned about your teen's safety or mental health, please consult a licensed mental health professional or, in an emergency, contact 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Product Delivery. When you make a purchase and submit your payment, you will be provided with the Products as detailed on the Website. The guide is delivered digitally and immediately upon purchase. Membership access is granted immediately upon enrollment and continues on a recurring monthly basis for as long as your membership remains active and in good standing. Please refer to the product description and your receipt of purchase, delivered by email, for further details.
Disclaimer. You understand and agree that the content included in any of the Products is informational in nature and does not represent legal, medical, financial, or other professional industry-specific advice, nor does it represent individualized clinical or therapeutic advice. As such, the Company will not be responsible for any damages that result from the use of the Products.
Membership. Portal/membership access is only granted while your membership is in good standing and active. If you cancel your membership, all access to membership content, community, and live Q&A sessions will end at the close of your then-current billing period, and there is no continued access to membership content thereafter.
No Warranties + No Guarantees. We are providing the Products on this Website on an "As-Is" basis for individual use by you at your own risk and without any warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular use, or any rights or licenses in these Terms. The Company makes no warranty as to the accuracy and reliability of information set forth in the Products, the Website, and Company-related documentation. You understand and agree that purchasing the Products does not guarantee specific outcomes, including but not limited to changes in your teen's behavior, mental health, or your family relationships. Every family and teen is different, and results will vary. The information included in the Products is provided for informational purposes only, and you are responsible for implementing any suggested strategies or actions found within these Products.
Payment + Billing. By providing the Company with your preferred payment method, you represent that you: (i) are authorized to use, and (ii) authorize the Company to charge that payment method (the "Authorized Payment Method") for any fees related to your purchase of the Products, including without limitation fees relating to the guide and/or your recurring monthly membership subscription (collectively, the "Fees"). Membership Fees will be billed monthly until you cancel. If you are taking advantage of any limited-time trial or bundle offer and do not cancel on or before the end of that offer period, you are authorizing us to continue charging your payment method at the then-applicable rate. Unless otherwise indicated, all Fees are in USD.
Cancellation. You may cancel your membership at any time by [emailing [email protected] / through your account settings]. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access through the end of that period.
Return Policy. All sales are final, and the Company does not offer money-back guarantees on the guide or membership. You recognize and agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund for any purchase under any circumstances, except where required by law.
To the extent you are in a jurisdiction that has a legal cooling-off period, you recognize that accessing the Product will forfeit any rights you might have under that cooling-off period.
Chargebacks. By attempting a chargeback with your financial institution, you are expressly agreeing to pay the full cost of your original purchase, plus any fees or associated costs incurred by the Company. We have the right to present these Terms to your financial institution, any payment processing company, and/or investigating agency concerning the attempted chargeback or financial dispute.
Promotions + Discounts. We may occasionally market and/or advertise promotions, discounts, limited-time offers, and/or bundles ("Promotions") to potential customers, such as a discounted guide-plus-membership bundle. You are entitled to take advantage of any active Promotions when you purchase our Products. Promotions are offered manually and/or through automated campaigns at any given time and are not guaranteed to be available when you make a purchase through the Website. We reserve the right to change or alter any Promotions at any time and at our sole discretion. If you made a purchase of our Products prior to any associated Promotions, we are unable to honor the new offer, give you store credit, return a portion of your purchase, etc.
License for Use. By purchasing Products through our Website, you are agreeing to these Terms of Purchase and, in return, we are providing you with a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, personal-use license (the "License") to use the Products by yourself and for your own household/family use only. Sharing, copying, reproducing, modifying, publishing, selling, or otherwise distributing the Products, whether publicly or privately, is expressly prohibited. You may copy or print instructional materials within the guide for personal use, provided that all original formatting, copyright, and branding remains intact. Your limited license allows you to use the Products for yourself and your own family only. You are not permitted to reproduce, give away, publish, sell, or distribute the Products in any way, whether publicly or privately.
Intellectual Property. The Company owns and retains all rights, titles, and interests in and to the Products, including the guide, teaching videos, and all membership content. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property ownership beyond the limited license described above, and we reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
Community and Live Q&A Sessions. The community space and live Q&A sessions included with membership are intended to be supportive spaces among fellow parents. They are not confidential in the way an individual therapy session would be — other members are fellow parents, not clinicians, and are not bound by confidentiality requirements. Please use discretion when sharing personal or identifying details about yourself or your teen. We reserve the right to remove any member from the community or membership, without refund, for behavior that is abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise disruptive to other members.
Consent to Use. By submitting reviews, images, comments, testimonials, or tags ("Submissions") to us on any platform, including but not limited to social media and online reviews, you are by default granting us a commercial license and voluntarily releasing us to use your Submissions for any reasonable future business use. In doing so, we may use your first name and any other information you have publicly revealed when referring to your Submissions in our marketing materials or on our Website. We will not use identifying details about your teen or family in a manner you have not consented to.
Age Limitations. You acknowledge you are able to perform any and all of the obligations required under these Terms. By submitting payment or otherwise enrolling through the Website, you warrant that you meet all legal age limits in your jurisdiction required to use this Website and/or purchase Products, and that you are the parent or legal guardian of any teen referenced in connection with your use of the Products.
Changing Terms. We reserve the right to update and revise these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Products and Website after we have updated the Terms indicates your acceptance of the changes.
Privacy + Protection of Personal Information. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand the types of data we collect from you in connection with your purchase of Products and how we use that data.
Error in Store Presentation. Content on the Website may, at any given time, be incorrect or out of date. We reserve the right to make changes to Product prices, specifications, availability, and the Website as a whole at any time.
Termination of Use. We may terminate your account or restrict your use of the Website at any time for any reason. You are responsible for any charges incurred prior to termination.
Limitation of Liability. The Company is in no way liable to the Purchaser or any third party for any damages, including but not limited to punitive or exemplary damages, or those resulting from negligence relating to these Terms, regardless of whether the Purchaser was advised of such damages. This Limitation of Liability provision does not purport to affect any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under law.
Maximum Damages. Our entire maximum liability and your sole remedy for any actions or claims shall be limited to the actual amount you paid for the Products.
Binding Arbitration. In the event of a dispute between the Parties that cannot be resolved amicably, the Parties agree that such dispute will be handled through binding arbitration in alignment with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration will be held in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The Parties will equally share the costs of arbitration.
Choice of Law. These Terms and the Parties' relationship are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Notices. We may provide notice to you by (i) sending a message to the email address you provided, or (ii) posting to the Website. You may provide notice to the Company by certified mail to [BUSINESS ADDRESS], or by email to [email protected].
Severability + No Waiver. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions will remain valid and enforceable. Failing to enforce any right or provision does not waive our ability to enforce it in the future.
Transfer + Assignment. You may not transfer or assign any of your rights under these Terms to any third party without our express written consent.
Force Majeure. We will not be liable for any failure or delay in delivery of the Products caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, cyberattacks, epidemic or pandemic, or telecommunications/power outages.
Headings for Convenience Only. Headings in these Terms are for convenience only and do not define or limit the scope of any provision.
Entire Agreement + All Rights Reserved. These Terms constitute the final agreement between the Parties regarding the purchase and use of the Products and Website, and supersede all prior agreements. The Company reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.
